Tough love in management

Management’ is very interesting because it requires a wide range of skills. The world is not an ideal place with ideal behaviours, but here is what I have found to work fairly:

  1. COOPERATE by working from shared ideas and objectives
  2. NEGOTIATE to agree on how to leverage on those areas where there are differences, including moving on cordially
  3. LITIGATE when others are proven to be cheats, so that they may be deterred from repeating behaviours which de-value instead of nurture.
